Prerequisite: None. All ages welcome.
This class is designed to introduce people and dogs to the sport of show handling in a fun and supportive manner. Topics covered include ring procedures, stacking, free stacking, gaiting, how to fill out entries (ie. Which class do I enter?), ring etiquette, and more. Our goal is to demystify the process of learning how to handle a show dog and ensure all of our students (two and four-legged) enjoy their time in the ring.
The instructor for this class is Katie Jaremey, who has 16 years of experience in the show ring. She has finished numerous championships, won many group placements, and has handled multiple dogs to BPIS (Best Puppy in Show), BPISS (Best Puppy in Specialty Show), BISS (Best in Specialty Show), and BIS (Best in Show).
